APK (Android Package Kit) files are the raw files of an Android app. Learn how to install equation-maker.apk file on your phone in 4 Simple Steps:
Yes. We provide some of the safest Apk download mirrors for getting the Equation Maker apk.
The biggest drawback is you are limited to one line. You simply cannot write more than a single equation at a time. And, I am not referring to the 'align' functionality. Surely this coudl be added, after all, it is not free.
I did not find a convenient way to get an equation out of Equation Maker and into a Google Docs or Google Drawings file, without saving the equation to a PNG file. The drag/drop procedure does not seem to work when a browser is the drop target. I can successfully drop equations into Keynote and even TextEdit, but I can't drag back them back into Equation Maker for further editing.
The final answer!!!!!!! I need to only generate any graphic, photo, video or equations once and be able to save the final product master in a file format that is portable without limits so they can be quickly lightly edited (if at all) to be dropped into a document, publication or presentation reused at the highest possible quality. Of course I could do the deepest of all dives and go bare knucles LaTex but I need my quality time for other things. Equation Editor is a well done light and fast interface for the powerfull open source MathJax project sponsored by the American Math Society and others. I can quickly generate and equation with the pre-defined symbols and see the corresponding LaTex implementation. Most of what I need is pre-configured but it is easy to edit the LaTex source "code" with more advanced symbols using a quick lookup LaTex reference. Then things can be saved in PDF, SVG or PNG formats. If a future edit is needed the PDF can be "dropped" into the Equation Editor pane and the LaTex code is regenerated for your edits. Because the results are stored as a vector graphic in a PDF format the equation PDF file can be pulled into Adobe Illustrator and exported to a number of other file formats if need be. But as a PDF the equation can be dropped into MS Word or PowerPoint as well as Apples Pages or Keynote. As a vector graphic the imported equation can be easily scaled in all apps without compromise. Thank you Hokua Software for this very light and fast but comprehensive interface for MathJax. One of these days [redacted, but it isn't a fruit] will dump their dead end approach to equation editors and move into the future of simple and the pain of attempting to implement equations into documents for all of humanity. Think about it [redacted], you have an obvious opportunity to do good for all of mankind.
I particularly like the juxtaposition of the palette and the editor window. I'm accomplishing much of the work through clicking icons, but I'm also modifying those by copying and modifying the Latex code. So I'm learning Latex! (I got chided by a classmate in graduate school for not knowing that.)
I used MathType constantly, but then it stopped supporting the current Android system, so I thought I'd try LaTeX.... this program works beautifully, I love it! Plus no annual fees (a la MathType), many thanks to the creators of this program, it has been a life saver for me.... keep up the great work!
