Despite that, the Google app store had no problem charging me. Shouldnt there be some way to check if this is going to work with the operating system you are using when you download it before you actually commit to purchasing it? What a joke. this is a great game but with the mouse controls add the you control the little cross thingy because it will be easer to fly and fight and it will be more fun and fix the first mission were you have to bomb make it were you can turn left and right too>
I really enjoy this game. It is the best of the 3 versions I have. It still has the same problem that rears it’s head about 50% of the time and that is it says it regonizes my joystick and when I get to the game, it hasn’t requireing me to quit the game and reboot it. Not that big an issue when weighed against the amount of enjoyment I get from it.
Sky Gambers-Cold War is a decent jet combat game, but with a fairly limited aircraft selection to choose from and with a shallow storyline (not that the story is really THAT important). Unlike Stormraiders, Cold War doesn’t allow the player to choose the weapons load-out, and the load the planes come with is usually pitifully small (one or two radar guided missiles and two or three IR-guided missiles). Also, for some reason all of the historical jets have been given visual makeovers (for instance the "RFU4" (F-4 Phantom) has a really ridiculous-looking twin tail and an air scoop on top of the fuselage). I assume that this is to avoid some sort of copyright infringement. If you're really into historical aircraft, these ugly mods can be kind of annoying. Otherwise, the gameplay istelf is at least as good as Stormraiders, but there is only one campaign as opposed to two.
