One step forward, two steps back

I enjoyed the first gam a lot for years and was excited when a sequel was announced and released. I enjoy the graphical upgrades, new home remodels, and the helper cat. However I really dislike that toys can degrade and break in this game, it doesn't really make the game more enjoyable and just forces the player to have to ration fish to maintain all of their items.

Sequel feels more like just an update

The sequel just feels more like a minor update to the old game with more stingy economy. Since the game is still pretty new I really hope they add more new features. Otherwise it’s a mildly relaxing idle game to come back to occasionally
