Love this poker app purely for the simple user interface. All the other apps have way too much going on visually. This one hits.

The latest update completely ruined this app. Forced to play out the entire tournament or you lose everything. You don’t always have time for a whole round. You only keep 80% of what you win, since when?? Ads keep getting longer and more annoying. They used to get some money from me, but they won’t anymore.

The game was everything I was looking for in a mobile Texas hold em app. Able to play offline coupled with a clean UI was amazing. Intuitive controls as well. However with one of the recent updates, you can no longer leave games early. This forces you to play until you win, and if you want to leave early, you lose all the money in your hand. I loved being able to play a few hands when I was bored and continue about my day. Now they made it so you are practically guaranteed to lose unless you’re willing to sink an unreasonable amount of time into a single round. I didn’t have a problem with the AI being overpowered at times, but not being able to leave when you’re positive so you can play again later was a bad call by the developers. I hope they revert it because the game is perfect otherwise. I’ve never written a review for a mobile game before but this change was so appalling that I wanted to share it with anyone interested in downloading. I’ll gladly bump my rating back up to 5 stars, but with this most recent change, I can’t justify that.

I love the format of this game. Its simplicity, the vertical format and ui, no ads, etc. However the ai opponents regardless of each update can be quickly identified and exploited to benefit the player. I can play the 25 million buy in private island tournaments, and just push bets to the desired amount, and all in bet shove every time and win 98% of the hands. It’s ridiculous and you can easily tell what ai opponents have in their hands based on when they bet. This is a massive problem. I just want to play poker, but I can full clear a win in 25 million buy in every single time in less than 10 minutes. The new ai opponent test game mode, you can max buy in, shove every hand for a good hour, and walk away with 300+ million easily. The entire ai system needs to be reworked, they need to bluff, and notice patterns like going all in every hand and counter by also going all in. The platform itself is perfect, the ai is completely broken.
