Useless for restoring to iPhone

Was hoping to backup android text messages and restore to the new Android. Created the backup with the android version but the Android version doesn’t allow you to restore at all and backup on Android is only possible if you pay for the premium version. This app should be called SMS Backup and Disappoint or SMS Backup and waste your time. Either would be a more accurate title

The YouTube vid suckered me into downloading this never mentioning a fee. They just show it already downloaded on IOS and -AFTER- the fee is extorted from the user. The Android version was free. It took an hour to backup my SMS to a credible looking XML file on Google Drive. But after downloading the IOS version the first thing it wants is for you to pay a subscription. If they had been up front about it I would have considered trying but I am done with being sucker punched.
