Footpath Route Planner for Android

I have lung disease… walking & bicycling are helping survive. FOOTPATH helps me understand stand my activities + it links to my watch’s activity app.

It’s super handy to use for me when I want to go for a run but don’t know how far or a distance

I have been using Footpath for a few years now, but not even close to the capacity that I discovered today. I’m staying with a family member’s acquaintance in a neighborhood I’m not familiar with. On my laptop I planned a couple of routes, knowing exactly how far I’d walk, where the inclines would be, and saved them to a folder of routes for this town. It was great to see those routes available in my Android app! Then I figured out how to send the route to my  Watch! It was awesome to get turn-by-turn updates, and have the workout added to my Health app automatically. And it let me control my music playlist as well! What an awesome tool to help plan, execute, and track my walking workouts! I feel motivated to get out more regularly now having a guide on my wrist to walk in neighborhoods I’m not familiar with! Great, great app!

I use it to map my tracks: running, driving, and biking. I like the vocal part of the app which tells me when to turn - especially when I have mapped a country Drive.

This app is absolutely splendid for planning routes. It is also free, win win. :)
