Best place for information and check interaction between drugs
My daughter has multiple autoimmune diseases and at any given time takes 10-15 meds twice a day. There are so many little round white pills, if I didn’t have pill identifier I would not be able to get her meds sorted correctly. Also the pharmacy changes manufacturers almost every month, and without being able to look them up I would be lost. Having instant access to side effects is also a lifesaver.
The app has some really good functionality for looking up medications and their associated indications, contraindications, dosages, side effects, etc. I use it frequently for myself and family members. The biggest limit is in not being able to share a report or listing without giving someone access to or having them install the app and try to use it themself. It would be great to be able to just attach a copy of a printed list rather than a link to the list in the app. We shouldn’t have to be old school and physically PRINT it. We should be able to send it without a link. We all really do not need to have other people in our app and we don’t need to have someone else put our list in their app but to be able to share what we are taking with a new provider would be awesome. Or to do this for a family member and investigate issues would be most helpful. Currently you can’t document it for them to see/share. Very disappointing.
I’m currently a nursing student and if I’m ever having a brain fart or just simply don’t know what the medication I’m handing out is or does, I can pull my phone out and type the medication into the search bar and it’ll give me everything I need and plus to make sure it’ll actually work and that’s just one of the many useful medication guides it offers such as a search bar where you place your symptoms and it’ll tell you what cures that from over the counter to prescription, this app is extremely helpful and you will not find a better app then this one right here
