Hinge Dating App for Android

I had good success on the app over all and found it more suited to my long term dating intentions than other apps, however I was removed from the app for seemingly no reason, and support is unwilling to help me understand why. This is a bummer for me as it is the most comfortable way for me to start dating since I am not extroverted in meeting new people. I wish I could understand why they made this decision, it does not feel fair to not cite a specific term or condition in a case like this.

They banned me! I don’t post questionable pics or suggestive comments. I’m a teacher for goodness sake! And when I submitted an appeal I received nothing back. I did nothing wrong and am always appropriate and respectful but still got banned. It’s embarrassing and humiliating.

I chose this out of all others and unfortunately I’m disappointed with my results. I deliberated for awhile on the idea of going on a dating app since I was more into meeting someone organically. Since I’ve been here I’ve encountered love bombing narcissists, creepy people that want to tell me about strange sexual encounters, lead me away from chat which to me is obvious romance scammers, profiles that are multiple images of the person which just seems like a photo shoot instead of a look into who they are, first dates that are merely invitations for hook ups. The list goes on and on. I guess I will go back to old fashioned hopeful encounters doing things I enjoy and cross my fingers for a connection

The hinge app is wildly racist. I thought I was imagining things or my eyes were playing tricks on me but ultimately if you are a person of color this app will regard you as a less than second class citizen and show you people that you are not the least bit interested or on the same attractive level with. Additionally the app knows that it’s doing this because it will show you the exact kind of people you want to see in the daily suggestions where you can send a rose for some outrageous price with no ROI. I did not receive one interest or one like from anyone I would even remotely consider spending any kind of time with from this app. If you are a person of color Hinge is not the app for you go elsewhere.

Hinge does a fantastic job matching you with compatible people, while the chat room could need a little work in a few areas, I highly recommend people hinge in their search for finding someone special.
