meh ... it's "OK", but not having distances converted to other than KM is a dumb oversight ... as well as not allowing "landscape" orientation for iPads.

Only kilometers?

Exactly what I was looking for in simplicity. Just points to the waypoint and gives distance. BUT, measures in kilometers and can't find any way to change unit measure. I wanted to measure in feet for locating some survey pins.

Needs some attention

You have to play with it to figure it out, since there is no Help or documentation. Distance to Target is only in meters (but you can pretend it's yards ;=) You can have multiple targets with identical names. The name of the target you select is not displayed. There is no target deletion confirmation. They don't tell you how to enter Lat/Lon of a prospective target (you Flick the digits up/down, then Save Target & name it). The keyboard for naming targets has no space key. I suppose for 99 cents, what more can you expect.

Brightness reset

Agree with corky37. The program resets the brightness level to max when run. Should be an easy fix...

You'd have to sit up long nights to make this app any simpler. Use it to mark any spot--tap "right here"--and you know the direction, distance and elevation to get back. Very handy, very simple, very fun! You can put in coordinates if you have to, and of course you read off the coordinates of the spot you tapped in. Cool!
