FFT Plot for Android

I’m a BSEE (University of Washington, 1995) with experience and a bunch of patents in signal processing. This app is an outstanding tool for understanding the spectral content of an audio signal. It was clearly designed by someone with some expertise in the field, and it’s a joy to use.

Works perfectly. My only wish would be to also look at the waveform in the time domain. I use this app for testing new speakers. You will not be disappointed.

I greatly enjoy how feature full and yet simple this app is. It runs great and seems quite accurate. One thing I think is dearly missing is a way to export the signals measured to a file (like csv). Taking pictures is great for qualitative comparison but this tool would be way more valuable if it could be quantitative.

As a studio engineer who has to run live sound a few times a year, this app saves me a lot of trouble. I can ring out mics in a heartbeat and solve problems more quickly on the fly. No more sweeping for the exact frequency to notch, or for where to center the de-esser! It’s especially handy on an Mobile with its larger display.

Fantastic! Apps like this are the reason we don’t need to buy a stupidly overpriced bespoke piece of gear for every little niche... unless we want to! Keep up the great work!
