I think the title speaks for itself. I use this app for everything.
I have been playing with this program for quite a while. It was a very slow crawl to get my rating up to the 1300s. Well over 100 games. So uninstalled and reinstalled to start over and test the rating system, with the idea that in the first ten games I would set the software at a higher level. The app says it gives you ten games before it rates you. I played 10 games with the program software playing me at around 1300. I won 7 games, lost 2 and drew one. In fact, I won one game I played with the computer software at 1480. After the ten games, I got my rating. It was 989??? Yes. Now that seems totally crazy. With 7 wins and a draw in ten games, I should probably have been rated over 1400. What seems to happen with this app is that you start with an 800 rating, and when you win a game, you get some points. But it takes forever to build up the rating. A lot of this program is great. This rating system is not at all, and could definitely use improvement. I cut a star off my earlier five star rating. I hope the developer will improve this. After 10 games, with a 7-2 and 1 record at the level I played, I should have gotten a more realistic rating. UPDATE TO ADDRESS DEVELOPER RESPONSE: The app does say under “rating” after I reinstalled it, that you will not be rated till you play ten games. If I played the first ten games, with the software set at 1300, and won half and lost half, in my humble opinion, my rating should be set at 1300. I did significantly better that that — won 7 games, lost 2, tied 1 — so the rating should be set somewhat higher. This would be an improvement. I’m not worried about my rating. I’m suggesting improving the rating system for everyone who uses the app, because right now, it’s not up to the high quality of the rest of the app.
I have played this game on my Android for a while. I do like it very much. For Android I recommend to fix the font for "TAKE BACK", "FLIP", etc... it does not aligned will on the screen. Keep the great work up!
great for being free! It is a little dark.
Good 3D chess set but needs to be able to mazimize view to a full screen.
