This program works well and does what it says it does. I use it for pitch tracking worried less about how close my voice is to each note. The biggest flaw is you only see one octave on the side and that octave always starts at C. I was really confused at first when making a HIGHER note shows up LOWER on the graph. I understand what is happening but it is confusing. Also with the note buttons order to change the octave I have to use a drop down menue. This means if I want to hear a C4, then a B3 it is cumbersome and cannot be done smoothlly. They did a good job with customization, it would be nice tobe able to provide the option to have a scrolling graph or just resize the window. I have a 30 inch screen thier is no reason it can't show more octave on the graph. Another idea would be to indicate the octave with color or for example notes in octave 4 are blue, 3 are orange, and two is red (avoid red and green for us color blind people or let us customize).
I’m a voice teacher in L.A. I’ve been using this app with my clients for many years and love it. It’s pretty unforgiving which is a good thing! I wish they would update it because it’s gotten buggy as the Android OS has changed. And it’s not available for mobile.
I really enjoy using this app for practice but I have notice that sometines it's a half step off. I checked it with a reference source. I shut down the app and it resolved itself. SO now before I use it I check it first.
I’ve been happy with this app and have used it for MANY years. I thought it was abandoned actually until I saw a recent update. I use it to see where I’m at as far as tuning, singing a capella. For that it’s been great for me. I’ve recommened it to other singers who don’t feel they sing in tune and want to see if there are any things they are consisntently doing, whether singin flat or sharp or simply waverering a lot.
Too bad it doesn’t have a continuous signal line like “Sing & See.”
