Unforgiving to new players

Played the game and greatly enjoyed it a few years back, now as I try to get back into the game for the last 2 weeks, an event halves the prices to conquer bases. Obviously, a base 5x my size immediately destroyed me. Glad I didn’t waste any money on water canisters. TL;DR: only fun if you’ve been playing non-stop for a while, otherwise you’ll have to constantly restart with nothing

An honestly great game just like the other two, lords and knights and Celtic tribes. And honestly I would love to see more games just like these. Two potential ones could be samurai themed or colonial American themed.
