The charts on the pages do not scroll. This is a huge problem because it cuts off content that can be used to solve the level. In addition, the skip to next area button doesn’t work. It would be wonderful to have multiplayer in this game. It would also be really nice to have a table of contents LIKE YOU HAVE IN NORMAL WIKIPEDIA ARTICLES. I shouldn’t have to scroll through the whole thing to get to one part.
The concept of this game is fun! I bought this because I missed the wiki game I used to play on my android. There are two main things that take away from the fun for me 1. The way the Wikipedia articles are displayed. They are displayed with every section expanded, so you have to scroll through every section and it’s easy to get lost between sections and subsections. There is no overview outline with major sections to expand and minimize like an actual Wikipedia article. This just makes it frustrating and tedious to skim through. Yes, there are arrow buttons to skip through sections, but I still wish everything wasn’t automatically expanded. 2. The levels seem to be pre-determined, not randomized (I could be wrong and would be happy to be corrected!) Other wiki games I've played randomize your start and end points every time, and that’s what keeps it interesting. I was disappointed to see levels like “bird to spider” and “NYC to prohibition” (those, along with some others, seem way too straightforward). I get that maybe they’re keeping the beginning levels easy, but a beginner could just as easily use randomization until they get a beginner level combo. It just gets boring and kind of does Wikipedia a disservice considering how expansive it is!
I haven’t written a review in years but this was so infuriating that I just have to. There’s no multiplayer function, therefore it’s SO much less fun than the original but they have the gall to still charge $2 for it? Do not buy this under any circumstances. If I save even one person from forking over $2 they could have spent on a snickers bar, I’ll be happy. Just play on a desktop
Asked to go from wine to Jesus..... scroll down, find Jesus in one click.... gives me 2 coins instead of 3 and says I’m 3 clicks over the perfect path.. no
There’s no scrolling to the right/left so some pages are cut off if there’s a table or embedded bullet points.
