Runs really smoothly, and is easy to use
I started using Musixmatch in order to add lyrics to my songs on streaming sites like Spotify. At first there were no issues, I was able to add my lyrics and sync them with no issues for my first ten songs or so. Then some updates for the app started rolling out and completely broke it. I’m using an Android 11 Pro Max and I’m not sure if this issue is specific to my device but now adding lyrics is near impossible. I write my lyrics out and when I go to save them it tells me ‘Invalid pattern found.’ Like what? It’s English text with no special characters or anything else like that. I delete everything, restart the app and type the entire song out again. Same issue. And then if you somehow manage to actually add lyrics there’s the syncing glitch. When you click the ‘Sync’ tab you are greeted with a broken UI and no way to actually sync the lyrics. The play bar covers the song title and the send button and no amount of tinkering fixed it. You have to send your lyrics unsynced, then sync them not once, but twice every single time. If you do it once it tells you it worked, but when you go to look at the lyrics it says, ‘these lyrics aren’t time synced yet.’ So you have to sync it for the second time, and pray it works. I mean it’s a nightmare to get it working and it’s been this way for months now. Devs, please get this straightened out, we would all appreciate it. Thanks for your time :)
Love this app been using for a longtime. Before asking for a subscription. Gonna keep using the free until no longer an option. Love contributing and the mood features though.
