CollaboraCam is a pretty cool multi-cam app. The app is intended to be used in collaboration with others, with one person serving as the director. The director taps and double taps to switch cameras and can send visual clues like “tilt down” to other camera operators. Single source audio comes from camera one, so you should use that one strategically. Videos are transferred to the director over Wi-Fi and composited. This relatively quickly. Most of the reviews are 5 to 7 years old, which makes me wonder what happened to the app’s popularity recently. As for recommendations, I think the director’s device should also be given a camera option, so that audio can be controlled from the person in charge. Awesome App

I won’t go into detail about how awesome this is, though I could. It’s AMAZING. The ease of use and clean look is unmatched by most apps of any kind. I wish it had some picture-in-picture options, a live stream, and possibly the option to overlay graphics. These options in other multi-camera set-ups cost a lot of money, so for $5 I won’t be overly critical, but I’d compromise and pay more, and I know other “directors” would, also. Thanks for such a great app!

Three Point Oh Noooo

Bought this app in 2011 when it came out and suffered with other early adapters while all the bugs were worked out. Now that version 3.0 is out, I can no longer download an older version (which was working fine on my older Mobile that cannot update to 10) of the app even though I paid for it and oh well who cares, it's just money right?
