1. There is no need for an internet connection since all the Hebrew text comes with the application (English (JPS) and Onkelos translations can be downloaded from within the application without any charge).
2. Whenever you'll close the application the last watched chapter will be saved for next time, but you can also select a verse to be the opening position for next time.
3. If you want to remember a verse or a chapter, you can easily set a bookmark to that place by just clicking on a verse.

Reviews

Very useful, but needs bug fixes

This is a very useful app, but there are a couple of annoying issues. The "Jump to last position" setting has no effect. It always goes to the beginning of the parsha. The bookmark function crashes the app 90% of the time (after setting the bookmark). These bugs have occurred since I started using the app many years ago (I started using the app since Mobile 1 came out), and on 4 devices.

Excellent app for Hebrew Bible study

Great for reviewing Holy Writ on the go. Intuitive interface and clear, easily-read font makes it a pleasure to use. Only complaint is that occasionally a ta'am (cantillation or "trope" mark used for punctuation) is omitted; this should be fixed.
