Works Great

I have used for many years , through a few cases and races, and prefer what shows in the “history” CrewNerd app with HR strap to the wrist tracker, which does not show accuracy over 100bpm. So glad that it can now upload to my C2 log, which for years I did manually !

Could be more robust

I have used CrewNerd for 5 years and like it a lot. My only complaint is that it will switch off. I have set it to begin recording a practice then find later it quit. Practice records are nice but not critical. One regatta of 7.8 miles across Puget Sound out of Port Townsend was one I wished I had. Flat water shells are at their limits there. I wanted to see how consistant we were during a hour of hard rowing. Our 8x+ always was in the top 6.

No comparison

I’ve been using CrewNerd since forever - 2010 or so. Single sculler. It’s perfect. The only thing I could wish was that it had Google Watch integration - then it would be better than perfect.

Works as it should

More than enough metrics available to monitor, syncs seamlessly with my HR monitor. SPM bounces a bit, but who doesn’t have a good feel for stroke rate anyway. I use a Lifeproof case with an Android, and I can personally attest to its waterproof integrity.

Needs Apple Watch remote

Great app, but almost impossible to use on the boat with a waterproof app. Stopped using it for now as I can get a cheaper app with watch remote.
