This is a very solid and thoroughly enjoyable snooker game. It's a niche (in America) so I can understand the $4.99 price point, the hope is that the game keeps improving with updates. What it lacks in final presentation and polish it certainly makes up for in the core gameplay. Controls are excellent and the feel of the table and the ball physics are nicely done. With practice you'll soon be playing cool positional shots and making large breaks. The 3D table visuals are good, as are the sound effects of the clunk of the balls and the pockets. Shot aiming, spin and power are all very intuitive and make the gameplay experience feel very smooth. Opponent AI is a bit wonky at times but it's not a huge deal. If you enjoy snooker, this is a really very good handheld game and comes recommended. Wish List/Fixes: (*) denotes really needs. Help text is truncated(*). Force play-again after a foul(*). Nominate colour. Deliberate miss. Implement spider, rest and difficult/restricted cueing(*). Chalk degradation. Random kicks. Best-Of Frames setting(*). WiFi or Bluetooth matches. More stats. 3D Free-cam(*). Crowd atmosphere/applause etc.

At $5 this game needs work! There are many pool game variants to choose from in the appstore so why choose international snooker? The graphics in this game are not as good as other Android pool games (2/5). The sound is terrible compared to other Android pool games (1/5). The physics feel right and could be perfected (4/5) but are really let down by the lack of graphical detail. The control mechanism is also almost perfect (4/5). It's very easy to control cue ball accuracy and spin. However, there needs to be a zoom-to-behind the object ball perspective for checking the angles. You can look from above with the top-down perspective, but the graphics, again, are not very impressive. Developers need to get on top of the graphics from the baize right through to the background; and definately the sound too. If the game was released at .99c as is, and with developments in progress, I'd be happy. But, I feel I've spent too much here. The good news is that the game will be amazing if the developers decide it's worth the effort.

I love this app one of my favourate, however I just downloaded the new version on my Android 3GS and it looks poor now! Each time you take a show the balls roll very fakely now unlike before where it felt like normal snooker! Please fix this and you will get FIVE STAR!!!
