it’s a nice app but i wish that i can edit/delete the foods we make just in case we make a mistake on the information we put in
The nutritional info is frequently wrong and very difficult / impossible to correct. Rather than utilize servings on the label it tries to use amounts. So if the label is for 1 serving and 1 serving equals two tablespoons, Lifesum will have the default quantity be one tablespoon and assign it the nutritional info for 1 serving. That’s incorrect. They should just default to servings and then adjust from there.
Seems like most items are not standardized or verified but added by users; for example, portion sizes are subjective with many “standard servings” which are not defined.
There has to be an easier way when accidentally recoding food under the wrong meal. This process isn’t straightforward and requires the deletion rather than being able to edit the meal and categorize it correctly
This app is cute and all, but for a year I like the smiley faces or frown faces determine which foods were “good” or “bad”. This is so out of touch, and this app either needs to get rid of that or delete the whole app. When you put in a food that isn’t the utmost healthy, it rates the food with either a smiley face, a lesser smiling face, or a face of disapproval. That could be so damaging, especially to people just starting a weight loss journey. Do better Lifesum. Read the room, and realize that even something that small can be so damaging. Just be a calorie tracking app, and just give healthy recommendations like my fitness pal.
