I learned about this app because I own one of the developer’s other apps, Travel Guide for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Arguably, this kind of app makes more sense for AC, but the developer added some excellent functionality that you can’t get with Nintendo’s Switch Online app, like detailed stats on your loadout and a full listing of everything you can obtain in the game. I especially like the widgets that list the current stages in the game, though Nintendo followed up by adding that, too. Still, at this price, it’s still worth getting this app. The dev has been constantly adding new features since the launch - thanks!
I bought the Animal Crossing New Horizons a couple years back when it first released so I was stoked to see a new companion app I gotta say, the widgets alone make this app worth it! Absolutely phenomenal app!!
feature request: in acnh app you could share a screenshot of the filters you set (ie pic of all owned items or not-owned items). hope we can do something like this in the future, especially with gear load outs or owned gear so can send friends a screenshot of what i have in case they wanna order anything from me)
I usually (read: ever) even bother with 3rd-party companion apps, nevermind *paid* ones. But I took a chance with this one because of the dev's reputation from the safari app. Was buggy at first, but the developer responded incredibly quickly to the bugs & submitted suitable fixes to address them. The app is now *indispensable* for Splatoon. Love it, and will certainly be looking out for more releases from this developer!
Better than most wikis currently available. I really needed a gear builder to help me plan out my gear for Splatfests and Ranked Battles. It has pretty much all the information you need, how to unlock certain items, which brands are more likely to roll certain abilities, and ability stats. Of course it doesn’t have EVERYTHING because the game is so new, but my only complaints are that Loadouts don’t save if you leave the app jussst for a second, you have to hit the folder button and create/open a new layout to “save” it. Another thing is I don’t think it applies exclusive abilities (Comeback, Respawn Punisher, etc.) to its calculations, which is a hassle to do manually considering there’s so little information about S3’s abilities out there currently. But overall, if you’re looking for a way to keep up with gear/collectibles, and plan out a gear setup, this app is near perfect.
