1. Instead, Progressions uses a unique way of mathermaically generating a series of related chords using only a root note and mode (major or minor).
2. If you run multiple instances, Progressions allows you to sync your chord pads, song chain, arpeggiator / strum patterns between instances.
3. Progressions allows you to quickly randomize a toolbox of chords, that can be played in a variety of modes (block chords, arpeggiated, or strummed).
4. It has an intelligent algorithm that attempts to align top notes of chords, add additional bass, and open chord padding to give equal weight to chords with only 3 notes.
5. The Humanize section allows you to control chord and note timings, as well as set velocity variations to ensure things don't get too robitic.
6. Progressions can be loaded as a MIDI plugin or as an Instrument for those programs that don't support MIDI plugins (such as GB).

A useful tool

I initially wrote a negative comment about this tool. The issue had to do with measures and divisions. As it turns out the issue was related to my lack of understanding of how this software works. So I am now changing my rating.

AUM display problem

Using iOS 15.5 on 8th gen Mobile….Updated AUM…. Opening single instance in MIDI or audio channel , Progressions will not display properly not allowing resizing to full screen. Opening Progressions out of AUM shows full screen. Updated this as Paul pointed out double clicking title in AUM open app to full screen….

Still won’t work in Cubasis

The app won’t work in Cubasis. Midi strummer works fine. Works fine in Aum, but I had hopes to use it in my normal workflow. Aspirationally i’m still giving it five stars because I know it’s due to some issue with C3…
