This game could be great but the game’s monetization keeps it more on par with other greedy App Store games. Playing through the first section of the game is great then the difficulty ramps up to an realistic progression. unless a large amount of real world money is spent, it is impossible to proceed. You can purchase trap packages for real money, or you can use the game’s currency of diamonds to purchase loot boxes. Looking at the description for their best loot box, the Royal loot box, it says you can get screws, reset tokens, gold reset tokens, ascension tokens, or traps. Each box will reward 2 of these items. I purchased 25 of these royal loot boxes and 24 out of the 25 boxes had a mixture of reset tokens and gold reset tokens!! These reset tokens are practically worthless for new players because the only people who would reset stats on traps are people with high level traps. Since it’s impossible to get your traps to a high level without spending even more money, getting these as a new player is the equivalent of getting a middle finger! 1 box however had regular screws, enough to increase 1 stat on 1 trap once. And to put that into perspective, I could buff the cooldown timer of a trap from firing once every 3 seconds to once every 2.9 seconds!
