Roku Smart Home for Android

I purchased some smart home things-more specifically the smart plugs and for my Christmas trees and smart bulbs. The Roku smart home app does run a tad slow for me at times and freezes, however this does not inhibit the productivity of the smart home products. Also, I have updated the app and it seems to have helped with the slowness or freezing. Overall though, I enjoy the products and the app is very easy to navigate through.

I have Roku color light bulbs, a Roku indoor camera, and two outdoors plugs for my patio lights and Christmas lights. The setup was easy for all. It’s very convenient to be able to access all of the devices in a single app.

I was told that this was just like the Wyze camera except in this app I cannot locate the view playback option? I have an sd card and continuous recording.

It was easy to set everything up and link all my bulbs in one group! Being able to link my smart bulbs in a group really helps to turn them off and change the settings instead of doing it three times. I also LOVE being able to turn off my Christmas tree from my phone! It’s perfect for not having to unplug it every night and if I’m already in bed but forgot to turn it off I can turn off the tree with my phone! The Smart plug also gives me the option to put my Christmas tree on a timer!

So when you outsource and offshore all your development work— this is what you get. Light bulbs at quadruple the price that you can’t control— with abysmal security (who knows who is hacking you now since so many ports are open and nothing is patched). I’d you buy this junk you get what you deserve.
