Houston ZooScape for Android

Horribly buggy and unhelpful. Had to zoom in to microscopically tight levels to see the names of the animals but sometimes that didn’t even work. Between this and an old school map and someone who had just been at the zoo a few days earlier, we all walked around aimlessly with no sense of where to go.

Never write a review, but had to say something about this app! It’s a must have if visiting the zoo!

The Houston Zoo doesn’t have an app, and the paper map was a helpful overview but not detailed enough. I gave this app a shot, and it made a world of positive difference. You can see exactly where you are, which direction you’re walking, and what exhibits are around you. And it can give you walking directions straight to the cheetah, flamingos, etc. This zoo is a bit of a maze, so the directions were invaluable. On a hot day, it made our zoo trip efficient and fun! Best $0.99 I’ll spend this week for sure.

This is the best app for the Houston zoo! It’s very user-friendly and easy to navigate. It was my first time at this zoo, and it really helped us find our way around. The GPS feature helped us find food and gave us the shortest route to our desired location. These guys really knew what they were doing when creating this app!

Worked great. Easy to use
