  • Only Central & South America Available

I enjoy the app and it is quite user friendly. I only have Hispanic countries available to pull from and so I’m not sure why I cannot index North America or Europe.

  • App does not recognize Apple language default setting; support is worthless

My default language is English. All of my apps recognize this except FamilySearch’s Get Involved app. There is no way to set a language in the app. Searching the developer’s site for support is worthless as it defaults to general support. There does not appear to be a place to provide meaningful feedback to the developer Searches for language settings on their “support” site only give instructions for changing it to something other than English. The result is that no matter what I do, the app presents me with Spanish names. Really disappointed.

  • I don’t know Spanish

App only offers Spanish speaking countries. I can’t read Spanish. Deleted and re-downloaded, and same thing. Can’t find any option to focus on English speaking countries. Deleted app for good.

  • Love this App!

After hearing that the greatest work we can do is bringing others closer to Christ on both sides of the veil, I began using this app and it’s helped me feel the Spirit that much more. Initially, it felt intimidating indexing the names, but I became much better with practice, now I’m addicted 😂 great app that’s fun and easy for everybody 😇

  • Addicting, but Bad Bugs

I love the opportunity to help review names, and the convenience of being able to use my Android to help family history progress! I can review names when waiting in line at the store or when I have a few minutes to spare. Easy. There are several bugs in this app; but perhaps the worst is a newer bug that name swaps. When you click, “Incorrect Highlight” or hit the “Back” button, the contents of the text box gets stuck on the last name you reported as “Incorrect Highlight”, or approved as a “Match”. This can be corrected by clicking “Unsure”, but it took some experimenting to figure out. A glitch that has been a problem for awhile is the thermometer/counter, which doesn’t work regularly once you get past about 300k names. I logged out and reloaded the app as a new app, and so far it is working again. In the meantime, I lost count of at least 300k names. :’( I will still use the app, but worry about those who are not as motivated, who might get frustrated and leave.
