Summit + CityMD for Android

My expectation was that this app would be the same as Summit’s patient portal, but optimized for the Android. However it has none of the most important functions such as prescription renewal requests, the ability to send messages to your doctor, or to make appointments. It is an exercise in frustration that ultimately forces you back to your computer to do anything useful.

whoever came up with the idea for this deserves a kiss on the mouth. this app has changed my life. instead of sitting in the clinic for 2 hours i get a ten minute phone call and my problem is solved. can’t say enough good things!

I like the app, but for some reason I am unable to make payments using my Cigna debit card… I always have to call in and wait on hold for about an hour to make payments with the card. The representative I speak to always says it should work on the app, but it never does.

This app requires access to all cookies or it will not render the results to medical tests. They’re doing this so they can sell you personal and medical information. How messed up! I used to love CityMD, but I will no longer use now that it’s intertwined with this evil service. AVOID!

Test results don’t include patient name so my employer wouldn’t accept as proof. It just says name. Might be interface with city md who I used. But last fall I had similar issues. Performance is terrible and the app locks up when it does work forcing me to force the app to quit. Seems like it downloads the test type but not the results forcing you to wait yet another minute. Comes across as minimal effort made to make a usable app.
