So far I am ready to throw this out the window! First problem, tiny print miniature leaflet instructions. Can’t read them. Ok, go to web site … find your device. It is NOWHERE to be found. It’s an outdoor plug. The only instructions it shows is for inside plugs! It also states that it has to be near the router, since when is an outdoor plug even remotely near where the router is plugged in? Next it says press the side button on the plug(there is none) there is a green one on the front, so I push that light comes on but it is red, is that on or off, pressed again it blinks red, press again it’s blue( which one means it’s on?) . I have already wasted 2 hours at this point and am nowhere near to having it set up and working. I’m the past I have used the type that you plug in and manually set the number of hour you what it to stay on after it comes on at dusk. Cost between 6-10 dollars. I had one last year and it worked like a charm, easy to set up too. I accidentally left it out and unplugged . I am going to go out now and plug it in, I bet it still works, if not I will just go buy another cheap one and send this piece of crap back to Amazon!
I have about 8 outlets and they were all working wonderfully for over a year. I had scenes and customized everything. NOW NOTHING WORKS. APP CANNOT CONNECT NO MATTER HOW MANY WAYS I TRY. Very angry now. Why is there no customer support site or phone number? Contacting manufacturer, Amazon and Better Business Bureau.
Just spent 3 hours trying to get four plugs to work and only one connected. I hate this app and plugs. I’m exhausted and so over these stupid plugs and app. Definitely will NEVER recommend these pieces of cr*p.
I only have one item hooked up to this app so I cannot comment on running a bunch of stuff but it works! I really appreciate the ability to set the timer for appliances on here rather than having to program an old fashion light timer. The lights continued to work on the timer I set on the app even when we lost WiFi for two months which was great! I’d definitely recommend this app and the associated products. Only con is the app interface is a little clunky and awkward.
Can turn off using Bn Link app but have not been able to get Alexa and plug to sync. Help!
