Pay to advance and the wall comes quickly. The energy system is awful. Rewards are are and far between. The game mechanics and graphics are fine. The top players are not free to play, that is also untrue.

Long tutorial forces you to spend your resources

The game is fine, fun even. But I uninstalled after it forces you to spend your first 300 gems on getting a hero, when it’s cheaper to save for a 10 hero summon. I was already peeved when it forces you to spend resources to level up a hero I didn’t want to, but then setting me back 300 gems on a dinky summon wasn’t going to cut it for me.

Unfair devs and favoritism

Game was fun at the beginning. Devs cater to individuals and clans while manipulating “rng”. Would be better if game was balanced. Also, listen to users…instead of just creating more content without addressing issues.
