Tempo for Android

I ordered equipment almost a year ago, and still don’t even have it all. I went to cancel my monthly and they had the temerity to tell me I signed up for a year…despite the fact that they haven’t lived up to their end of the sale. Other questionable billing. I’m so annoyed that I want nothing to do with them now. Find something else, seriously, don’t risk it.

I love my Tempo Move. I have run into issues when trying to set up, but customer support has been extremely responsive and helpful. After the last update, I noticed that when I preview a workout, it no longer shows an image of the moves. I thought the images were helpful in deciding if I wanted to do a workout or not. can you bring that back?

I appreciate how your eng team is one by one adding things to this app and the connected products. Google Watch integration, health integration, music integration. All the things that I’ve thought would be nice have been added over the past year. Thanks for all the great work! My one stretch nice-to-have would be to implement the Google Watch always on Watch face while working out. Blame the coaches who are always forcing me to do planks.

It is not made clear to the buyer that there is a 12 Month commitment when you subscribe to the classes!!! I wanted to try out the classes for a month or so to see if I enjoyed the coaching style but now I’m stuck paying $40 a month for another 9 months despite not using the app! I’m not asking for money back or to return the weights I simply want to stop using the classes… but “Mike” the automated customer service rep has just given me the same copy paste answer over and over that they can’t do anything.

The app hasn’t been able to connect to our Move in two months, even though we have updated it every single time there’s an update and tried all their troubleshooting. It was working fine for the first three or four months we had the Move. Since Tempo forces its customers into a 12-month membership commitment of $41.34, they have charged us a total of $82.68 so far for a product that is supposed to give us live feedback during classes, but which has completely stopped working. Tempo support will not cancel our membership or refund our charges for the months the app has not worked. We could have purchased standalone weights for significantly cheaper than the Move, and we’d be using them in the exactly same way we have been using the Tempo weights for the past two months—offline, without classes, and without movement feedback. Save your money and don’t buy into this gimmick.
