Can’t make changes to daily water goal

It’s an ok app but after putting in the goal and settings I wanted, they were all changed once I started using the app. I was able to fix some of them but the most important one my daily water goal can’t be changed. I’m actually contemplating deleting the app and reinstalling to start over but I shouldn’t have to do that.
