This game has a great concept and all but the time it takes to reach a relationship with teo is so long, and the fact that we have to wait mid-conversation for teo to get back to his phone. āteo is breathingā āteo is thinkingā itās just so annoying
i really like the layout and overall idea of the app but it doesnāt run very smoothly and its a bit glitchy. itād be easier to play if the conversations didnāt just stop right in the middle and come back 20 minutes later. it also sends lots of notifications that arenāt necessary and it sends them while iām in the chatroom. i really like the smaller features and easter eggs
I gave this game a chance after seeing it was from the same team as MM and I did like the game still do but I hate that after this recent update I got kicked out after 40 days or so of playing I canāt get back. I try to login with my Google ID but it refuses to let me back in. Iām not waiting another month to gain back progress if this is what Iāll get again.
i wouldn't recommend this game... it's okay to try, maybe you'll like it- but still, sadly and nearly excruciatingly plain. :( i like the game's setup at first! it's definitely creative and highly visually appealing... i think it's just a little hard to follow sometimes. i notice the nods to the other cheritz game features (mysmes- the daily routine function, the space theme that seems present in both, the ~mystery~ of you showing up as a stranger in a testing chatroom that you were never supposed to have...) but it seems like a hopeful copycat more than anything of substance. a majority of features that would make the game enjoyable are either locked behind a huge paywall, or kick in well after interest has already been lost.. the first impressions of a game are extremely important! they're what helps the player (or me, at least) decide whether or not to keep the app & continue playing. for me, The Ssum seemed kind of- for lack of better word- bland. it's repetetive, slow-paced... but maybe that's what some people like about it! i'm not sure- it might just be my ADHD talking. still, i personally am drawn to more engaging gameplay. Teo as an introductory character is very plain/basic, which i can understand, as- well- he's an introductory character. However.. I do miss the fluctuating personalities that we get to see back in Mystic Messenger, for example, and other otome-type messenger games. i understand the need to appeal to a broad audience off the bat, but it truly does feel like communicating with CleverBot rather than a pre-written character who's meant to be endearing and well-connected to us. Perhaps, though, this is more an issue with the English translation being a little on-the-nose and awkward than the actual writing. I'd like to think that that's the case. (the interactions are just so stone-faced, distant... much unlike what we saw in MysMes with the entertaining dialogue and lovely, diverse characterization.. this is clearly just a blank slate boy meant to appeal to everyone, therefore making him less appealing as an individual! as a character writer myself it's just hard to love..) Overall, the game is grindy, unorganized, CRAZY overpriced when it comes to in-game purchases, and seems confused on its goal. I didn't mention this before, but between the user-wide interactive space, the dating sim chat, the "emotion incubator", and what seem to be hints at a 'mysterious underlying plot', there's a lot to handle. With such a hit like mystic messenger i understand my standards are very high, but.. still, the game feels half-baked and in testing form itself, which is ironic as that's how Teo opens to the MC, haha.. however flashy, smooth and cute it presents- (the cool graphics & little introductory features sent my expectations soaring!)- the actual game & plot failed to support those early onset expectations. :( again the prices.. yeesh, the prices..... šØšØ they are honestly baffling to me, given how LQ & barebones the game seems... you'd think the upgrades and things would at least be promisingly affordable when they're almost the only things that look as if they can save the game's entertaining ability >~< much love to cheritz!!!... but this seems like a MAJORLY rushed project. i was looking forward to something put together with care and well-marinated in imagination as MM had been... not as much this experimental (& expensive) melting pot T-T
I am SO HAPPY to see this game come out! 200 days of chatting??? How could I NOT love that? My wish to have a Mystic Messenger longer version has been granted and itās all One on One! Thank you! ā„ļøš„¹ I am also super excited to see you are making another character. Please make one that is similar to Seven(707)! Iām also figuring out the personality test adjusts and changes the relationship somewhat, I had messed up originally on it so had to start over lol. Maybe if I choose energetic more, itāll change him too? Teo is fun though, and I canāt wait to see how this plays out š„°ā„ļøāØ
