Robo Shield Spam Call Blocker for Android

I’ve had this for about a month now. Downloaded with the hopes that it would help with the ridiculous amount of spam calls I’ve been getting lately. I was so desperate I even paid for the upgraded version. I’m STILL receiving spam calls. I add numbers to the spam list all the time and I still get called at least 3 times a day. Really wished this worked better.

When you install the app for the first time, and you run though the setup, it wants you to subscribe for 2.99mo. That’s fine. However it says “start your 49-day free trial”. After I click on subscribe now it says 1 week trial. Last I heard, there is not 49 days in a week. So is this app just a scam? Update: on top of the 49 day free trial scam, the app it self doesn’t block or notify you of scammers.

Doesn’t work

I’ve been getting over 10 calls a day for weeks. I decided to download this and paid for it. You have to put in the numbers manually for it to block. The issue is that a different robo number calls me every time. What’s the point of this app if they can’t screen the calls before my phone does? All it does is block those calls after I take the time to manually put it in. I can do that on my phone too. This is worthless!

I contacted customer service when o was charged 2.99 for over a year for an allegedly free application. The app refused to return my money. Then I tried tech support to fix it. They gave me the same exact instructions as are listed on the site. Wrote back to save instructions were worthless. No one at company is willing to help. They claimed m not to have phone numbers or supervisors. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER AND TECH SUPPORT.
