GoCube for Android

Today I scrambled my cube and couldn’t solve it, so figuring it I went to the app to use the solver mode. However after I did all instructions, it had said I had “fixed” my cube when it was still clearly scrambled. Yes, this cube is brand new.

It is a good app, but the cube is just not great. The corner cutting is small and the magnets are way too strong. It is also kind of annoying that it is a pillowed cube, and it makes it a little weird to hold. When you want to race another person, you can’t skip inspection, and you can’t actually race a real person, because you keep getting computers.

This help me soo much I actually solved it with was awesome!!

The app is a disappointment. I purchased the Cube because I hoped it would show me the next algorithm I should use right now, so that I can memorize algorithms. Instead it shows me the next stage I need to achieve (I already know it, it’s easy to remember) and some educational videos without any connection to the actual situation I have, just based on the current stage of the algorithm.

There are many problems with this app. Number one, is an occurring error in which it says somebody instantly wins, and the other gets an epic fail. This makes my personal best in accurate by a loooooong shot. This also happened with multiple friends. Next is an error where it claims I disconnected, while the opponent is still in the game… overall, it is very fun to play against people, but not when this error occurs. Please fix it in a future update :)
