Monster Smart App for Android

I’ve tried everyday I can to pair the lights to the app (I have the Monster Smart illuminessence strip led lights) and I have to sets of strips and neither of them will connect I’ve had their strip lights in the past and liked them but these are terrible I wish they would come with a regular remote also for cases like this

Even after messing with every setting and the levels of volume there is no way to get the lights to actually go with the music they just spaz out and flash aggressively and are very distracting to drive with even after setting the flash speed to the lowest possible setting. When using the music setting it also uses the phones microphone instead of the one built into the device making all the sound come out sounding like tin. These are trash and this brand is awful so not waste ur money on it.

I’ve been trying to connect it to my light strip and it refuses to connect. I have basic Wi-Fi and the 5g Wi-Fi. It refuses either so I have to do it the hard way with the hotspot thing it says. Since the app update, it won’t let me do that even. I can’t change my colors, brightness, flash speed or anything.

Don’t Buy, Don’t download app, Extremely outdated.

I downloaded the app for a set of LED strip lights I installed in a bookcase. The app allows you to set up “tap-to-run” shortcuts that can be run from within the app, or directly from your IOS Home Screen. This is great for turning the bookshelf lights on and off. The problem is that any time my router resets the lights and app lose their connection and I have to 1) reconnect the lights, and 2) rebuild my shortcuts. It’s frustrating to say the least.
