Things I love: -Clean design, very easy to use and lots of visibility and other settings (font size, search order) -AMAZING content (everything from learners dictionaries to big expensive unabridged dictionaries like Reader's, Random House, and Kenkyusha, and the Robert French-Japanese dictionaries). This has replaced my trusty old Casio Electronic Dictionary. -One purchase is shareable between all devices-- I use this app and its contents on my Android, Mobile, and Android, syncing seamlessly. -Great support: whenever I have had any issues, I get polite and helpful replies from the Japanese staff. Things that could get better: -Just keep adding content. The Kanjigen kanji dictionary, and the Kenkyusha Shin Ei-Wa Daijiten are two that I would be very excited about. -To people who aren't used to spending money on a dictionary, relying on free dictionary databases, or the internet, I would just say that I've found the quality of definitions and examples to always be worth the price in the long run! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I cannot restore or update dictionaries that I bought. It says there is an unexpected error and I need to force restart iOS. I did force restart many times, but it does not work. I have plenty free storage space left, so that should not be the problem. Also, sync issues: devices do not have the exact same number of bookmarks.
I love the user interface and the contents of bilingual dictionaries inside this app However updating the dictionaries inside this app is still a problem since it forces me to sign to my iCloud account as my iTunes account is not the associated Google ID (updating the app from the App Store is ok though) I do hope that there would be any solution for this any time soon Thanks for listening to my feedback anyway
Great app I must say, tried force restart device for about an hour, didn’t work, great experience otherwise... hope there is way to fix it permanently.
Now I could restore and download the dictionary.
