Detecht for Android

The app is not adaptive while using! If you miss a turn but can catch up to the route the app will not let you, the only way to continue is to go back to the beginning. I left on a 125 mile trip and it missed my starting point and refused to just catch up to my current location. Five minutes into the ride I had to pull over and change app while riding two up. This has happened the last four out of five rides. I tried to give it a shot because I like the concept, and it maps out great rides, but what’s the point when it’s not flexible.

Great highly recommended. Just wish you could set places like home or work. That way when you finish a ride and arrive at home it could say David arrived at home rather than David finished a ride.

It good and I so so like it, but it doesn’t work with Google CarPlay and I don’t want to see the map on a small screen so I doubt I’ll use it. Happy I didn’t pay for a subscription.

Are use RISER generally but I use this now primarily if I can use both apps they both have pros and cons what what’s great about this app are the emergency contacts God for bid something were to happen I like that it calls those people and lets Them know the exact location to send help if needed. I also love that this is like a small community and a good way to connect with other riders I just haven’t found people that are close to me yet

I just happened upon Detecht and decided to try it out. Only need to use the free version to get more out of Detecht than other apps I’ve seen. Crash Detection puts my family at ease when I ride to work during the dark hours of the morning. Thank you Detecht!
