This product requires more testing and a better user interface. No way to manipulate the control via the phone that requires you to disconnect the system. If you install behind a stackable washer and dryer with minimum clearance that provides no access behind it - you’ll end up doing more work than required.
This app does what it says it should do. Notifications only. It does not allow remote access to the water shutoff control unit. But for the $30 price of the water detection device sensor, controller and servo mechanism, what more would anyone expect? If you want to pay 10-20 times this price then you can expect more functionality.
The unit was in the house we bought. I was able to connect it to my router and “see” it on my Android X. The test routine seems to work but I receive no notification. Notifications are the only reason to install the “Smart Module.”
Now it crashes upon loading. Android 12 Pro, iOS 14.6
