Harvest Moon for Android

Game is glitchy. Even the review glitched out the first time I was typing details about what could be improved.

My save file will no longer load. Also i cannot make a new game, the screen goes black with the words ASSERT SCREEN at the top of the screen and some japanese letters underneath. i’ve been playing this game for months (sometimes it would randomly crash) and now all of a sudden i can’t play. waste of $15

I have played numerous Harvest Moon games throughout my life, and this one would be great if not for the incessant crashing. I constantly save my game because I’m horrified it will shut down on me, but it’s getting ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to save 10-20 times per in-game day in order to have an “enjoyable” experience. It is just really frustrating, and absolutely not worth $14.99 because of this issue.

The game is okay. However it crashes when coming out of the mines which means everything I did is not saved. There are not a lot of marriage candidates, only about three male and female which doesn’t give a lot of choices. The main thing you do is rebuild buildings and bridges, aside from that there is not much to the main story line. The use of the tools is awkward, you have to drag it out to choose the area to till or water which is easily messed up. Overall not worth the price tag

It seems like there was zero support or beta testing for this. It’s a gem in the rough and I mean rough. Go a day or two or three without saving and it will punish you by closing the app on you and making you repeat everything. There could have easily been a huge profit corner for Natsume and tabot and whoever else from this game that would justify supporting it. In game purchases for decorating, landscaping whatever, so many options and you wouldn’t even need to be pay to win… we already bought the app after all. But doesn’t matter. Milk the name and leave your fans behind. Leaves a terrible taste in my mouth for these developers
