When the app updated I can no longer customize the settings on the preset programs such as noise reduction, clarity, etc.

Updated version of my phonak app

My initial phonak app just disappeared from my phone! When I downloaded MyPhonak app from the App Store. This app did not look anything like the previous app, so I wasn’t sure I had the correct app. I linked my hearing adds to updated app & could not hear anything through my hearing aids. I contacted the “Support” on my computer & am waiting for someone to call me back. It’s Friday night, so I’m not expecting a response until Monday. On Saturday & Sunday I tried a couple more times to pair my hearing aids to the app without success! Update 07/11/2022: it’s Monday afternoon & I was unable to use my hearing aids all weekend! I had to go to my ear doctors office to get help with the app. Apparently the app was updated without any notifications sent (to me). OF NOTE: A prior notice of this update would have been greatly appreciated! Anyway, the staff at the office were able to fix everything. Don’t know how they fixed it & should haves asked, but I didn’t, I was happy I could hear again. After I returned home, there was an email from customer service with an apology & asked I send more details of the issues I had. Thanks for the apology, the app is working & I can hear now. I just request you email/ call / text your customers the next time you update your app. I love your hearing aids & it’s very frustrating & sad for me, when I can’t use them.

Is there any way to go back. This version does not keep the setting like the previous version finally got right. The mute symbol isn’t even right.

Big Mistake!!!

Should have never change the app!! Hate, hate this new version!! App doesn’t link to my hearing aids! Took about 6 times! Then the app has serious lag time updating different hearing scenarios! The volume slide lags, graphics look like a toy app, the older version was much cleaner sharper imagery…sorry this new version is more frustrating than useful!! Please change it back!!
