Amazing performance on iPad Air 4th Gen.

I own XCOM 2 on both PC and Switch. The PC version of the game is fantastic and one of my most played games throughout my long gaming history. When the game released on the Switch I bought it because I wanted to play the game while traveling and unfortunately the performance leaves a lot to be desired. Frame rate problems, long load times, and several small glitches really hurt the experience. None of these problems exist on the Mobile version. Performance is fantastic, load times are quick, and the interface has been redesigned in such a fantastic way that I actually prefer the touch controls to either controller or mouse + keyboard. This is by far one of the best ports I have ever experienced on a mobile device and this is a fantastic way to experience one of the best tactical games ever made.

A lot of fake reviews. This game plays better than console

This by far the most snappy quickest best frames of all. Can literally play 300% quicker than console. Loading is instant. Yes it’s crashes, when the moon is purple.

Probably my favorite game on mobile. No IAP. Not a freemium game. Not a free to play. Not a pay to win game. Port to mobile is perfect! Awesome collection. Thank you so much!

Outstanding immersive graphics but unreliable game in the end.

So many positives about XCOM and if not for crashing episodes and prompts (to use iCloud sync or local files) I would have unhesitatingly given the game a 5-stars rating. For $19.99 (which I’d pay upfront any day over in-app purchases) this game needs to perform. One area that does bother me - foes seem to be able to bunch up together and move towards your XCOM team as I moved them stealthy and in “Hunker Down”. Feels like AI cheating to me and any player strategies feel futile so I dropped the game from my phone. Too bad.
