Please and an English translation I don’t care if it’s even google translate
This is a wonderful riichi program but I’d really love an English translation of the mechanics of the program. Even without an understanding of Japanese, it’s easy enough to figure out what buttons to press to claim a pon or chow or kan or how to declare riichi, ron or tsumo. And the scoring page is fairly easy to use. But the options and settings buttons can confound users who don’t speak Japanese. For example, how do you set AI levels? Where are optional rule sets chosen, etc? What are the three button choices on the opening screen? How can we pay :-). I don’t think it would require much work - simply labelling buttons in English on screen shots of the various pages. No need for an English description of riichi rules - users drawn to this excellent app are already likely to be old hands at how to play. And it wouldn’t require any program modification - just the labeled screen shots as a downloadable pdf. Hope you’ll consider this. Again, terrific program.
学生時代から随分と麻雀から遠ざかっていましたが、やっぱり面白いですね!コンピュータ相手だとツモる牌が実戦とは違ってやたらと都合良すぎる気がしますが、十分に面白い。自分のツモ運が強くなった錯覚。これで気を良くして実戦に向かったら酷い事になりそうw
Despite downloading from the US App Store, and It listing that the game is both in English and Japanese, the game is entirely in Japanese and I can find no option in the settings to switch the language. I have Japanese speaking friends look at it and there was no option listed that they could find. The customer support page is also all in Japanese so I can’t figure out how to contact them to find out how to switch the default language. I waited for an update hoping it was a bug. The game seems very nice but while I can handle mahjong tiles without translations I can’t read Japanese enough to play the game.
