Now the problem is the pandemics over, sort of, but all of those drivers are hanging on for what used to be. To me this is the reason why driver sit out here waiting on deliveries for an hour or two. Sooner or later you will move on to another job as I have.
At uber eats they treated me badly. Sometimes when I was late delivering a meal, people would try to hurt me by posting bad comments about me, maybe to get a refund or just to annoy me. When Uber received a lot of this feedback, they decided to permanently close my account. No one was merciful, not even because in my description it said that I worked 16 hours a day, to be able to pay for college. I feel discriminated against by this company (Uber Eats).
Bad customer service, not properly trained. Lack of communicating back regarding pending issues. VERY UPSETTING RATING management. I work many hours, put myself out there at 115 degrees hot, do my best to provide everyone the same ride and delivery experience yet UBER not only allows but is careless to hear our side of the story for a bad or lies on ratings. I’ve been giving bad ratings for not making an extra stop when customers refuse to add it to the trip, bad rating for food not being prepared as rqstd to the restaurant, bad rating for not accepting special customers request. UBER really needs to step up and take more care of us drivers. We’re risking a lot every day, deal with all kinds of people ( which is part of the job) I understand but not to the point where our rating is being affected just because customers think they can ask for anything and expect it to be done.
