I have tried to get audio on this app and it’s already charged me TWICE $2.99 then $4.99 and STILL no audio. IT SAYS I HAVE TO UNLOCK BOOKS AND AUDIO BEFORE IT WILL WORK SO I CLICKED TO UPGRADE. IT MADE ME DO THIS TWICE. IF NOT ASAP FIXED I WANT MY MONEY BACK. REALIZING I WILL PROBABLY NEVER HEAR FROM ANYONE. THIS IS TO WARNING TO OTHERS WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME. I give this no stars because of this. Plus I also cannot see anything but chapter 1. Genesis it will not change to chapter 2
Advertised as Fire Bible but no notes as the Fire Bible has in the print version. The NIV chapters do no load full chapter unless you go to next page then back. If the parallel NKJV is selected then it will display full chapter. Lot of bugs like this but for the price I guess I can deal with it thru prayer and patience.
I love this version but the app needs some attention. The bookmark feature is not working and there are typos throughout. For instance, in the book of Ruth, Ruth’s name appears only as h. I hope someone is monitoring this that can correct these issues.
I just purchased a new phone and the app is stuck. I paid for all options about 4 years ago and I would GLADLY PAY AGAIN if I could just restore all books and all features. Does anyone know how to do that?
I used to like this app, but now it won’t let me go beyond Genesis. It says I have to upgrade Books and Audio first, but neither of those apps on my phone show as needing any updates. Then I saw in the description and other reviews that you have to pay to unlock the rest of the books of the Bible and I would gladly do that, but there is no link provided at which to do that. I could not find such a link in the app itself or on the corresponding page in the App Store. I tried the menu item that said “Restore Purchases” since I had this app on my last phone (which was a Galaxy), but that attempt wasn’t successful either. If anyone out there knows how to correct this issue with this app, please let me know and I will happily edit this review and increase my rating significantly. Until then, a Bible app that only lets you use one of the 66 books and doesn’t give you a way to unlock the rest is not of much use.
