Mr. Pumpkin Adventure HD for Android

I experienced multiple bugs and glitches just at the beginning: 1. Trying to start a new game didn’t work at the very start after I wanted to play the tutorial but missed it 2. The volume control in options for music was almost impossible to mute 3. After stopping and continuing, the saw in the plant in chapter 2 would mysteriously appear then disappear then reappear in the plant 4. The hint game, which is incredibly simple, got into an infinite loop after the pumpkin hit a block, and the score kept rising but the hint game could not be stopped. Even though none of these were that serious as such, it was impossible to trust the rest of the game - I could not know if when I was stuck it was due to a bug, so I gave up. Normally I’d have returned the game but other games from this vendor are excellent so I didn’t bother. Mobile Pro 12.5” iOS 14 (14.1?). Game Center was turned on.

Well, save your time. This version is not polished. Tons of misleading, mathematical, clues and puzzles. I followed an invite online guide + YouTube, but gave up. The game allowed me to move on without finishing tasks, collecting items. Then thr guides talked about saving and loading the game at certain points. How are we supposed to know that? Worthless, frustrating and disappointing.

So after solving a puzzle and entering in the correct code, nothing happens. I think, hmm maybe I got the answer wrong. I look up several different walkthrough videos and find that I did get the answer correct, the game is just not registering that I’ve entered the correct answer. The “puzzle solved” notification with mr.pumpkin’s head never pops up. I can’t move forward so the game unfortunately is not playable for me. Really a shame bc it’s very charming and I really love the art style.

Easy controls but too many dead ends. Some puzzles ( I’m looking at you lvl 5 arcade) are too complicated. Gave up here. Diary is so far worthless, maybe it means something for end game. Who cares. Random drawings are just that, random and useless. Mean nothing. You hand in a chess piece, which zooms in the chess board but it has no function. You spend time trying to figure what it means and it is a big nothing burger. It’s cheap enough to buy but not worth being frustrated with.
