How to setup RC Timing APK:

A lot of potential!

I tried to use this outside. My car was white, and the camera was so washed out, even after adjusting settings, it couldn’t distinguish between sunlight on the dark asphalt and my white car. I tried adding a strip of red duct tape to the car, but the color was washed out the red stripe didn’t show up on the camera to select as the color of choice.

Doesn’t work with IOS 14

Spent hours trying to set up the app. Multiple camera angles, multiple cars etc. Even tried spending the $3.99. The app would count laps by itself or just miss the cars most of the time. Don't spend hours like I did. Just look for something else. Will ask for a refund from Google store.

Works great

Once you get the color detection dialed in it works great! It would excellent if the race data could be exported as csv or some spreadsheet format.
