Day One Journal for Android

Dear DayOne, I love you so much. I’ve been a user for 8 years and I’m not going anywhere because there’s nothing better. But what is up with your completely terrible speech-to-text and autocorrect?? I’ve been wrestling with this since I first started my account, and I kept thinking you would work out the bugs, but honestly it’s like it keeps getting worse. It feels like your AI is getting dumber. It regularly changes correct words to incorrect ones, it misses obvious corrections, it suggests completely random words that have nothing to do with the letters I typed. and it has never learned any of my family’s names - never offers correct spellings as suggestions, never seems to have noticed that those are words I use constantly. I’m a busy mom and business owner, and I’ve just had to live with it because I don’t have time to clean everything up. But either I’ll have to someday spend many many hours correcting all the dumb mistakes, many of them CREATED by your system, or I’ll have to live with my family history being riddled with errors. Please fix this bad feature in your otherwise amazing product! Giving 5 stars in hopes this message gets through to somebody, anybody.

Huge thanks to dev team! I’ve been using it for a week, and already love it a lot! Templates, daily promt, overall UI are great. Also iCloud sync works just superb (that was huge for me after bad experience with other apps). Guys, I would recommend U for sure!

I’ve used this app for about 5 days. I wanted something simple to journal my recent coding journal while including some daily life happenings. Love the simplicity and UI is nice. Only issue so far is the iOS widget doesn’t seem to track the streak. I’m on day 5 and it’s stuck on a 2 day streak. Only way to fix it is to remove the widget and re-add it. But then it’ll be stuck on the recent streak. Pretty useless.

So, I love this app don’t get me wrong it’s amazing but it’s missing something that would be really really amazing,, Custom colors !! For the journals you can change the colors which is really cool, but; there’s no pastel colors, there not in rainbow order, there’s no pure black color and no white, the colors just feel random. I would seriously love if they added a color wheel and save option it would make me so happy- The rest of the features are cool by the way ! Oh and, I’ve been using this app for 4 days (today is day 5) and I love it <33 — Someone who loves color <3

Love the app. Use it every day. Such attention to detail. So easy to use across my Android, Mobile and Android. Seem less sync. Thank you.
