Spurgeon?

I’m not sure if this is all entirely Spurgeon. There are some readings where the language doesn’t seem to correspond to the language used by Spurgeon nor the vernacular for those days. I wonder if in fact is all Spurgeon or the language has been changed and has it changed the content then?

Spurgeon was known as the pastor of the Metropolitan Baptist Church in London England, and is regarded as one of the most important religious figures of Baptist Church history. His beloved “Spurgeon’s Sermons,” beginning in 1855, is a book both widely read, as well as used by modern Christian Leaders to compose sermons.
