This app is just an electronic version of your membership card. I mostly wanted to address all of the 1 star reviews left for this app. In order for this app to work at all, you MUST have it activated BY THE ZOO. To do that you call the zoo or go to someone at the ticket area. They give you a code and then the barcode shows up for your membership. It’s nothing exciting, but it saves a card space in my wallet and it makes it fast to show my membership for discounts and getting into the zoo. Suggestion: I know this is only for memberships, but it would be neat to see an app, or addition to this one, from the zoo that is a map. It would also to be nice to be able to see what animals are on exhibit in live time at the Islands section.
We wanted this to work so we didn’t have to worry about leaving our membership card at home. I was also hopeful they’d have the park map on it. Sadly I can’t even get in. It keeps refusing our membership number regardless of what I do. I hope they’re able to make this a usable app. It’s a great idea!
