This month has kicked my behind mentally, physically, and spiritually. I paused doomscrolling to deal with worry and grief and picked up this little game and soon found myself smiling despite everything. Cute as all get out, fun to see what random encounters I roll, and cheerfully wholesome. Really a welcome respite.

The game is great, but it gets repetitive quickly. Most progression is locked by daily limits (such as energy, dungeon tickets, etc) making CapybaraGo seem more like a waiting game 80% of the time when tickets and energy is depleted. This is annoying since you have to wait a day for everything to replenish. Some quests or short-time events are also locked behind ads or paywalled in order to get the full rewards and benefits. The game and layout is almost identical to Survivor.IO (which makes sense since it made by the same creator/s) however it makes the game lack originality. Overall the gameplay is fun but it just seems more of waiting game than actually being able to play Capybarago! for long periods of time.
